Valparaiso University Law School

Dana is a lifelong resident of Eau Claire. He is following in the footsteps of his father, Ray Wachs, a former City of Eau Claire Manager and Attorney who also practiced law in the area for many years. Dana and his wife, who is also a lawyer, live in Eau Claire and have three children. Dana is a fanatical Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoys downhill skiing, hunting, boating, fishing, playing the trumpet, and listening to music.

Volunteer Activities

Dana volunteers extensively with the Democratic Party. At election time, he is the Lead Election Attorney for the party and its candidates. Dana regularly serves as treasurer for political campaigns. Dana also works to advocate for issues that are important to consumers, people who need affordable healthcare, and people who have been injured, addressing these issues with State and Federal legislators.
